My first goddamn crossplay ever!!!!
I know, I didn't respect the mecha thing from the beginning ( but from now on I will ) because I had this cosplay finished before new year ( I was going to wear it if I would go to Valencia, mind you, that was at the end of November ). The problem was my camera was still broken and I needed a wig. And nobody had time to take pictures of me.
But 2 days ago I was talking to

and I told him I needed pictures of this cosplay, and he wanted to take pictures of someone since he opened a new account just for his photography ( WATCH HIM ON

). And he also lent me the wig

How did I come to this cosplay?
Well, I love Hunter x Hunter. I love Togashi Yoshihiro's series since I was little, because YuYu Hakusho. And I always wanted to watch HxH, but never had the opportunity...since the new anime started airing, I said "Why not?" and I LOVE IT. I love all the goddamn characters, my favorite actually is Killua, but I can't cosplay him, he's too much of a kid for me.
The idea of cosplaying Kurapika came by watching an episode, and thinking "I need something to sew...I have 3 meters of blue fabric and lots of orange vinyl leftovers". And Kurapika came on the screen. So...I did it.
I did the exam version though because I like it more. I don't like Kurapika wearing skirts. He's a guy.
You can see in this picture why I never crossplayed before. GODDAMN HUGE ASS. I hate it. But...I like the pictures too much. I like how it suits me besides that.

What pattern did you use for Kurapika's over thingy? (Dont know the name.)

It wasn't really a pattern, it was two rectangles with a hole for the neck and sewn by the shoulders ^^U I don't know how to explain it, but it was really easy.
